History
Founded in 2003 by Elizabeth Louie, M.D., The Center for Precious
Minds provides social services to individuals throughout South Florida.
Dr. Louie recognized there was a great need for an organization to
provide comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations and support
services for children and adults. Her team has helped hundreds of
individuals and families better understand their issues and enabled
them to take a proactive approach in reaching their potential.
The Center specializes in cognitive evaluations, with an emphasis on
intelligence, personality and learning abilities. Also available are
evaluations for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) and
evaluations for individuals who may be on the autism spectrum. The
Center supports these evaluations with extensive counseling services.
Other services include tutoring, speech and language pathology,
occupational therapy and RDI, Relationship Development Intervention.
The philosophy Dr. Louie has prescribed at The
Center for Precious Minds has been a multidisciplinary
approach for the care of all who seek help. With
comprehensive evaluations from a variety of
professionals.
